De Beers has established a presence in the Canadian production scene through the acquistion of Winspear Resources, a junior who is developing a major deposit at Snap Lake in Nunavut, Canada.

	De Beers subsidiary Debswana, has a 50% interest with the Botswana Government in three opencast mining operations: Orapa, Jwaneng and Lethlakane.
	Diamond Mining – Namibia
	De Beers subsidiary Namdeb has 50% interest with the Namibian Government over beach terrace and marine deposits along the Namibian coast.
	Diamond Mining – South Africa
	De Beers operates several opencast, underground, alluvial and marine mines throughout South Africa. Opencast and underground kimberlite mines: Koffiefontein, Finsch, Kimberley, Premier and Venetia.
