The Board of directors of Thomas Wyatt Plc, invited Phillips Consulting to manage a strategic repositioning exercise for the company following continuing losses through the diminishing market share and intensive competition. The firm carried out national market surveys, which resulted in a major reorganisation of all the functional units, presented a new financial strategic plan for the banks and other creditors; and devised a new business plan for the revitalisation of the company. We also conducted a staff audit to identify employees relevant to the future of the company and then deployed consultants to manage each of the functional units and reengineer the marketing, production and administrative processes.

Arrangements were also made to dispose of assets not key to the company’s business so as to release funds tied up in its physical assets.
